Philip: It was a thoroughly enjoyable game today in the sunshine. Right from the start it seemed there was only going to be one winner. Even though on another day I know could have played better, Matt was just the better player today. He cranked the pressure straight from the off, and I wasn’t able to handle it. Quite impressive too, considering he has had a period of absence from playing. Much deserved win Matt 👏

Philip: This has to be the hardest game I’ve played in Spin so far. It might have been the humidity, the consistency of James; but it was a mighty battle and I didn’t think I would get the better of him. We were both knackered by the end. I hope to play again soon.

James: Really fun game Phil, I was absolutely shattered by the end of it. So many long rallies and deuces. One hell of a match - congrats on the victory!
