James: Really enjoyable game in lovely sunshine

Tsvetan: A great set with Patrick even though it was very windy conditions. He managed to return some absolutely impossible shots and in the process we had some amazing rallies. I lost the ability to count in the 8th game! Fllowed by losing some of my nerve and Patrick had an amazing comeback and was winning 6:5 until I pulled off some miracle! Although the 2nd set might look one sided, we had some amazing rallies with Patrick and some impossible shots! Thoroughly enjoyed our rematch and can’t wait for the next epic clash!

Patrick: Great first set with Tsvet today. I won the first two games but then Tsvet won 5 games in a row to make it 5-2! There was confusion about the score in the 8th game but Tsvet was a good sportsman about it and said it was deuce rather than his set point. I came back to make it 6-5 and Tsvet ultimately kept his nerve and won on the tiebreak! A terrific first set, I look forward to finishing soon I didn’t bring my A game for the second set and Tsvet was on top form with incredible precision and unbelievable movement. Well played Tsvet, I look forward to playing again soon
