Wilson: Lovely game on indoor courts, which was a treat. David has a lovely slice on his first serve, and equally consistent ground strokes. We played some great tennis at points, and never held back on rallies! We played first to 9 games as we were short on time, and I managed to win 9-3 in the end. Thanks again for the game David, and thanks for being a gent with the court situation😅 Play again soon!

David: Yes, was a good game and nice to be inside as it chucked it down. I think we both lacked consistency, but a well deserved win for you even though your stonking first serve was mostly going in the net. I look forward to another match in December!

Chris: A real battle in the heat. I had no answer for David in the first set, his serves were killer and he was painting the lines. I managed to adjust and somehow pulled it out

David: Yes, it was an epic in the heat. Chris’s outrageous spin is impossible (can I make a nerdy joke here about particle physics?) and so many of his balls come so low over the net, you just can’t get em back! Well played - till next time!

Joe: The wind was moving the ball all over the place, which made it a difficult game. I feel I was lucky to win as didn’t play well and my serve was terrible. David is a great player and very good with spin and spin serve. Would love to play again when there isn’t a hurricane!

David: Thoroughly enjoyable match - in lovely sunshine but swirling wind. Very tiring, and neither of us served well, but some great rallies and the better player won. I look forward to another match, Joe!
