Alex: James and I have more matches than i can count, but this was by far the most evenly matched. About a 10 games streak from the start of the second set where he got EVERYTHING in! As usual i needed some lucky net cords on crucial points to get me through the other sets. Well played mate ♥️♥️

James: The new racket is serving you well. Great attacking play and always putting me under pressure. Very well played. Net or not. You deserved to come back and win the final set from 1-3 down. Looking forward to the next one. Well done !

Claudio: What a day to start the grass season! Mark as always had difficult questions for me, particularly with his deadly lobs and ever returning volleys. Fortunately today I had enough answers to win the day. I look forward to our next match!

Mark: Claudio (one of my 4 tips for the title) was far too efficient. Few errors (except the double faults which gifted me a few games), solid net play, almost always playing the ideal shot in a tight position. If you can enjoy being thrashed, this was it.

Dan: Very glad to meet and play Ben. Excellent courts. Ben’s Forehand passing shots were very difficult to play. Very nice game

Claudio: Rollercoaster of a match today, with James starting off guns blazing, with deep baseline shots and accurate passing shots. I managed to improve my serve and my net play, and James' level went down a bit allowing me to get away in the third set. James is a great guy, on and off the court, and I look forward to our next match!

James: Great level in tricky conditions for the first set. Then Claudio stepped up the level and kept his momentum going for 12 games, taking every opportunity to apply lots of pressure. Very well played! Many thanks and let’s play soon.

Sally: Very close game with William today! Was just a few points difference in the end which I managed to get but it could have gone either way
