David: A brilliant match with Bruno on a fabulous indoor court at Ealing Lawn Tennis Club! We had the whole place to ourselves but I have no doubt an audience would have enjoyed this game! Both sets were extremely tight and followed a similar pattern! The score was locked at 4-4 in each set and on both occasions I broke and held my serve to clinch victory! However, that doesn’t tell the whole story as Bruno performed superbly and was arguably the better player! Despite the outcome, it should be noted that Bruno dictated most of the rallies with some aggressive hitting! I played most of this match in defensive mode, running all over the court and putting out fires! Unfortunately for him, what Bruno lacked was a killer instinct in key moments but he caused me all sorts of problems! Well played Bruno! Best of luck in the rest of the league! I sincerely hope that you will get a few wins on the board this season!
