Edward: Tom just had a break but came out guns blazing, hitting some great winners in both corners. 2nd set I managed more returns and made it a bit more awkward for him. Final tie break edgy, nothing in it.

Tom: First game back after 3 months out. I decided on ‘Blitzkrieg tennis’ with loads of aggression to keep points short after a long time off. It worked and then…it didn’t. Well played Edward!

Sam: As always with Leigh we went three sets with lots of deuces. My lucky wolves shirt was letting me down when Leigh had complete control of the 1st set but I fought back and the third set was very close

Sam: Great game, score line definitely doesn't reflect the quality of rallies. We covered the whole court with a lot of variety in shots.

Kate: Match was closer than the score suggests but Sam was definitely the better player today - thanks for a fun (and tiring) match

Duncan: Lovely game in the sunshine. Totally out played by Peter's classy cross courts and impressively consistent quality serve. Really enjoyed the match, thanks Peter!

Peter: Really enjoyable game on a very gravelly court at Alex Park, but a beautiful day! Duncan was tireless and there were five breaks of serve in the second set alone, culminating in me pulling a muscle on the penultimate point of the match! Thanks for a great game Duncan!

Katarina: I’m not that pleased with this win as my serve abandoned me in the second set. Fiona is a great consistent player and places the ball in far corners in every opportunity. Good luck with the rest of the league.

Fiona: Thanks Katarina, you deserved to win, a good chance for me to try and tackle such powerful shots!

Michal: Not happy myself with the first set wasn't able to challenge Fabio. Was better second set but still not enough again Fabio who was reliable in the shots and variable with the shots. You never know what is coming and there was lot of surprising dropshots. Congrats, well done today

Fabs: Always nice playing you! Second set was closer with your big first serve adding pressure - you broke me twice with winners and had chances to take me to the distance. Well played.
