Finn: Beautiful weather and a nice match - not quite as high quality as our last game, but enjoyable nonetheless!

Jonathan: A beautiful day ☀️ 🎾 Finn is playing well and deserved the win

May: Thank you for the game Emma. There were some great corner shots from you that were impossible to return so ended up being quite a long match with lots of deuces and much closer than the score shows. It was nice to meet you and would love to play friendly games sometimes

Mark: Finally a win against the King of Spin! Lots of close matches with Fabs over the last few years but only one previous win in maybe 12 matches. Played possibly my best 2 points on the last 2 points of the match. Fabs gracious in defeat. Any win against the master is hard earned!

Fabs: 💚 well deserved!

Jonathan: As ever, a tight game and a pleasure to play against Juan. I was lucky enough to convert the critical points and that was the difference on the day. Great weather also luckily.

Juan: Really good and fun game! Jonathan opened up the court perfectly and put me under pressure early on at the net. Found some rhythm on 2nd set and some decent lobs but too late. Well played!

Holly: Thank you for the game, Duncan. A really enjoyable match with some great points, and much closer than the scoreline suggests with lots of deuce games. Looking forward to playing again!

Duncan: Great game Holly, lots of good long rallies and some very classy winning shots from you :) Thanks for making my first Spin league game so enjoyable

David: Wet weather, almost unplayable. Alessandro played some blinders, very athletic shots in the 2nd set and it was turning against me at the end but I struggled through! Great fun as always.

Alessandro: Unlucky weather but we had a good match. David managed to hit my weak spots. Well done!

Fabs: Couldn’t ask for a trickier match to celebrate my 100th one with Spin. Mark, the wind and the rain. I also didnt know Mark is a windmaster. Starting on the right side, all his lobs and drop shots landed in where he wanted! I needed a bigger court today because everything was going long. He didn’t let me settle in the match and in no time I was match point down and ready to go home. So I decided to play Mark’s favourite…underarm serve…. And…I stole the point!! Took the game and suddenly I was aggressive enough to take the set and make it to the super TB. Rain then started but I kept my attacking mode going and clinched the match. Mark, considering your recent injury as well, you never give up an inch and you will always have my rispect 🤝

Fabs: One of the closest match I played recently - Tom is great player with strong serves and fast down-the-line shots. Impossible to break. He made me run all the corners despite the wet-ish court. After saving a match point in the second I found a way to play more on the front foot and put more pressure on Toms game. It paid off giving me back more volleyes and smashes and a chance to the super tie break.

Tom: Very well played by Fabio. I just edged the first set and had a couple of chances in the second, including a match point but from that point on, Fabio raised his game to a different level, making no almost no mistakes and getting everything back. I didn’t play too badly although my approach shots and volleys were as bad as they usually are. Fabio outplayed me and deserved the win.
