Niklaus: First set was played it icy conditions a few weeks ago, second set in March in sunny spring weather - which suited Kurt much better. Second set was very equal and the luck was on my side - especially in the last two games. Lovely to meet you, Kurt, thanks for a fun match and looking forward to the rematch!!

Kurt: Yes, great match (second half) Niklaus has a great game and makes you work for every point. Very much look forward to play again. All the best Kurt

Robbie: Not a great match, I felt fortunate to win the 2nd set. The first set was full of unforced errors from Richard, and I didn’t have to do much to take it comfortably. The 2nd set was entirely different. Richard played the better tennis, especially when at the net. I was hanging on for most of it and I ended up playing very defensive pusher style tennis. That was a bad habit picked up in the first set that I couldn’t shake off, made me hard to beat but I didn’t feel I deserved the win. Lucky in the end.

Richard: Ouch not a good first set from me and left myself too much to do in the second. Robbie was consistent throughout played the big points better and showed great variation in his shots which made it difficult to get any rhythm going.

Vaibhav: Agreed - too many unforced errors today by Alice, otherwise she's usually the better player against me with no clear weaknesses. Very enjoyable nevertheless, thanks!
