Marcus: Thanks for the game Joe, certainly was no classic, with Joe being under the weather but still had some good rallies nonetheless, my first serve helped me out to win a good few points, but both of us played somewhat tentatively, which made for a bit of a scrappy match in my opinion. 😳

Tom: On a showery and blustery day, we just about managed to get this match over the line. The first set could have easily gone either way. The 2nd set I managed to edge it but it really felt closer than the scoreline suggests. Really fun match - thanks Marcus and look forward to playing again!

Marcus: First of all, Tom is a really nice bloke, really enjoyed playing him, lots of chat between games. Tom is a really good player, and fully deserved the win, while the first was close, l just couldn’t get a foothold in the set and before l knew it was 5-0 down! 😳 Tom doesn’t make many unforced errors with a good first serve and consistent forehand and double handed backhand. Definitely play again, well done for the win Tom.
