Botley Park Tennis Courts

Flora: Brilliant match. I went for too many quick and risky shots in the first set, which didn't go so well for me; in the second I tried to be patient and this was far more effective. Until next time!

Can Deniz: We had a really fun game. Flora came back amazing in the second set. Thank you for the match. Hope to play again.

Asif: Great to meet you, Ian - interesting game in the dense fog! And thanks for hitting the ball back to me when you didn’t have to 😂

Ian: Great morning playing tennis with Asif. Great player with accurate placement and a killer forehand slice.

Asif: Thoroughly enjoyed the rallies with Sophie. Thank you for the match and good luck with the rest of the season. Look forward to our friendly games.

Sophie: I had a lot of fun! Thanks Asif. Yes please to friendlies!

Fraser: I really struggle against Leigh’s drop shots and lobs. In the final set I was 5-0 down and started to play more aggressive “nothing to lose” tennis and won 6 games in a row, but was not quite enough.

Leigh: The third set was pretty epic. 5-0> 5-6> 6-6. Thanks for the game

Anna: Windy conditions made it quite tricky but it was a super close game with most games going to deuce. Thanks for a fun game Kayo!

Kayo: Thanks for the fun match ! Impressed with your brilliant forehand spin.

Flora: Thanks Naison, that was an excellent match and you kept getting better and better. Really well played.

Naison: Outstanding play in the first set from Flora, very consistent game, tight second set too. All the best in your remaining matches. Hope to play you again

Juan: What a battle with Sara. Very fun and even match. I got away with it only on the crucial points. Thanks for the game! Saludos 😀

Sara: It was a fantastic match against Juan. We were evenly matched throughout, but Juan got the nerves at the end to secure the win. It was a well-deserved win. Saludos!

Oly: Bit of a scramble to finish in the fading light but we just about got there. Thanks for the game!

Sara: Thanks for the match, Oly! Glad we wrapped it up in under two hours—it was definitely heading toward another endless deuce battle.

Steve: Fun game in the heat with Dimi. Always close and happy to win!
