Ehteshamul: Great match with Adam today. We weren’t at our best and made quite a few unforced errors, but luckily, I managed to come up with some clutch shots when it counted. There were plenty of great rallies and a lot of deuces throughout the match. Adam’s forehand is lethal, and he’s really sharp at the net. He was thrown off a bit by my topspin shots—they looked like they were going out but ended up dropping in, which definitely impacted the scoreline. Otherwise, the result could’ve been very different. Had an amazing game. Thanks a lot, Adam!

Adam: Great game of tennis, the better player won. Ehteshamul played aggressive tennis and has a wide range of shots with a lot of spin. His consistency and accuracy was tough to handle and he thoroughly deserved the win. Great match Ehteshamul, enjoy the rest of the season.

Adrian: Even though the score looks very harsh, we had some good fun on the court and good rallies. Alpha is a very competitive player and keen to improve, which was shown even after the match ended when we had some grear rallies and friendly games, and with the pressure being off, she showed what she can do.
