Marco: Good match with Chris, many close games, could have gone either ways

Chris: Marco was too good. He had a brief lapse to allow me the first set, but once he got back on top I was just playing defense

Craig: Really enjoyed it too. Solid kick serve and your approach shots got better and better. Thank you for the match and look forward to playing again

Laurence: Outclassed by Craig this evening - he has a very strong all-round game, with good pace, shot mixture and selection. Really nice playing you Craig - hope we can play again in future.

Nic: A really tough match as always. Fantastic rallies with some phenomenal running and pickups by Finn. Fatigue was definitely creeping in, I was fortunate to hold out to take the tiebreak in the end. Indoors for the next one? Thanks Finn!

Finn: Nic played great today, felt like I could never wrestle control of the rallies from him. Struggled to get a good feel for things in the first set, but eventually remembered how to hit winners in the second set where we had some pretty amazing rallies. Looking forward to a match one day when the courts aren't so slippery :D

Inna: Well done Mo!!! Your power is on point! I spent the first set just trying to figure out how to return your serve. Got there in the end but was a bit too late!! Super game! Thanks

Mo: Katarina has a very powerful serve and hits her shots very hard. The score is no way a reflection of the match. Very well played and hope to play you again.

Katarina: I couldn’t deal with your slice shots, and you deserved to win. You kept your calm on important points and that was most important. Very enjoyable game and good luck in your future matches!

George: Really enjoyed the game. I quickly discovered that the ball always came back and to avoid setting up your forehand Inna. Well played!

Edward: Our second match and I had a bit more success this time. I don’t think Troels was firing on all cylinders, but I was getting some tricky returns back in play and also hitting some good slices, passing shots, and lobs. Final tie break was error-strewn on both sides, including my two double faults in a row, which were probably as much distracting as advantageous for Troels 😆

Troels: Forgot to get involved in the first set and then finally found my drop shots and serves in the second. Ed played some sensational passing shots - both cross court and lobs!! He then tried very hard to get me back in the tie break with his very charitable 2 double faults when 7-4 up … only for me then to gift him 3 unforced errors … including one to forget !! Great match …
