Edward: Our second match and I had a bit more success this time. I don’t think Troels was firing on all cylinders, but I was getting some tricky returns back in play and also hitting some good slices, passing shots, and lobs. Final tie break was error-strewn on both sides, including my two double faults in a row, which were probably as much distracting as advantageous for Troels 😆

Troels: Forgot to get involved in the first set and then finally found my drop shots and serves in the second. Ed played some sensational passing shots - both cross court and lobs!! He then tried very hard to get me back in the tie break with his very charitable 2 double faults when 7-4 up … only for me then to gift him 3 unforced errors … including one to forget !! Great match …

Finn: Nice evening of tennis with Steve! I was able to have the upper hand in the rallies with some deeper shots - and we both had some much needed practice at the net :D

Steve: Well deserved win for Finn. He played consistently well throughout.

Will: Great game with Seb who has a solid forehand! The weather was awesome with temporary sunshine. There are so many great rallies, and we really enjoyed. Good luck to your remaining games as well:)

James: A game to dust off the cob webs for Alejandro after some time off tennis. Great to get out and play on a very slippy court. Some great backhand winners. But consistency paid dividends in the match today. Thanks for a good one. Let’s play again soon
