I was truly frustrated with my display on the resumption - nothing at all worked for me, too many unforced errors (Katie Boulter, eat your heart out!) and my nerves not allowing me to play the way I wanted to. Inna mixed it up well with great returning & slice forehands. Better luck next time for me, I imagine!

Seb: Nice first set with Luca, we had some great long rallies. Second set was a little difficult due to the whether. Rainy slippy conditions. Hopefully we get to play again in the sun 🌞. I learnt that Luca never gives up a point and chases every ball, and more often than not gets it back.

Luca: A great match, very long rallies and great points by Seb. Can't do much about the rain, just looking forward to our next game! 🙂

Olabike: A great match with lots of side to side running. First set could have gone either way.

Jamal: Great to see & play Lizzy again! Me & Lizzy go way back and this was our fourth meeting but first in the Spin league. Some great shots from Lizzy (one unbelievable slice backhand volley off her toes especially memorable) as she came from 2-4 to take the first set. I won the 2nd and the match probably turned on a lengthy multiple-deuce sixth game of the final set, which I managed to hold serve in. Thanks for a great match and all the best with the move to Hertfordshire, Lizzy!
